Chinatown tripppp!
and this is the place i spent my sunday~ away from the labtop and worksheets (thou i did bring my ee book along but i din read at all)
in the morning i went with keen and eddy to meet chuting jie at amk mrt. den we headed tgt to plaza singapura to eat ichiiban sushi! (coz chu ting jie must eat hala food). upon seated, i started grabbing the yummy japanese pastries uncontrollably from the conveyor belt coz are realli niceeee!!! hahaz. and keen treated her 2 bridesmaids to the meal. heez. lucky us.
den we went to the shop in bridal street where keen had already made some deal with. me and chuting jie watched her change into different bridal gown to be worn on her sentosa engagement ceremony. eventually i picked a nice nice dress for her and it looked the best among the rest. and decision is made for tt~ (of coz la, i choose one leh).
the whole choosing process ended an hour earlier from wad i predicted. so keen decided to bring me to the very nice dessert shop at temple street. but it was damn crowded den, so i din get to eat with them, had to go meet richard at 5pm.
lucky the train station was near temple street if not i would have lost my way! met richard there and we went to chinatown point where lotsaaaa toys were sold!!!! got anime, old toys, and HELLO KITTY bags and stuff. hahaz. =P richard was so gien on tt $150 made-in-sealed-box god ginrai transformer toy, but eventually he din buy coz
1. he got his friends to source for cheaper options for him
2. i felt if he is trying to open e box and play with it, he would be depriving someone who is desperately trying to collect it.
we walked ard a bit and happened to pass by this very ulu shopping centre with many many shops closed. but at the same time, i saw a familiar shop which ching cheng reccommended on her blog: Beppu-menkan! hahaz. so its in chinatown~ in the same shopping mall, we saw this very nice winding stairs and richard decided to take 2 pic of me~
nice ma? (other than the thick arms...)
due to hunger, we decided to go have dinner first. richard took me to this nice chicken rice shop which had been ard since 1987. he told me his parents always brought him there to eat wen he was young. so nice~~ and indeed the rice is nice! not very hard and smells great. the chicken meat is tender too. very worthy for $3. weee~
after which we continued walking along the street and came to the shopping mall beside the mrt underpass. there was some performance by china kids and was so so amazed by their flexibility and the BACK FLIPS. hahaz. very entertaining!!! and aspired too~ took some photos but turned out to be dark. =( wad a waste.
after the performance ended i was craving for the dessert which i missed out earlier on, so we went there and lucky for us, the crowd had cleared. had the must-try 杨孜甘露 (mango and pamelo in ice) and my fav black sesame paste. heez. the black sesame paste was soooo nice!!! its been so long since i ate it~~~ *floats*
feeling satisfied, we strolled along the streets~ took fotos of the lightings. but i felt bad for making richard accompany to see clothes coz he seemed a bit sian there. and he's lk quite tired too. =P asked him if he wanna go home rest but he stubbornly rejected. =X nvm~ hahaz. later we passed by this german sausage stall, the one with the ang mo owner~ hahaz. i can't resist but to share one with richard. heez. (i know i am a glutton)
behind the coconut tree... OMG, MY ARM MUSCLES IS... IS...
by then it was quite late alr, so decided to take 851 home. richard is nice to accompany me back despite him yawning throughout the journey. n it made me feel bad tt he reached home at 12.30am.
in short! tmr EE tut i go copy answer can liaoz. hahahahaz.
