NEW AIR CON FOR THE FAMILY TODAY! Pan's Labyrinth before i start, 6 new fotos uploaded to flickr. my bro has once again activated his camera on me in the morning. tsktsk. Sinful, but I like
the workers came to fix 4 new units since 9am. but by then i had alr left for school (reached at 8am) and slept on the benches outside lt7A. and then at 9am, i had my first engineering practical session~ first time to EW block and it is like how run down. hahahaz. imagine me doing fluid mechanics stuff there.... zzzzzzzzzzzzz...
but i am so sleepy and cold inside the lab!!! dunno wad i am doing but i just keep reading off the ammeter like i nv had done b4. the air con is so freaking samui tt i almost turned to solid state. was shivering as i wrote my report. then in the end i was among the last few to go off. sianzz.
finally managed to step out of the lab when a super strong and cold wind (not breeze) blew at me. wad the... i have to go to the toilet to look for the hand dryer...
slept my way on the train and reached home, the air con ppl still doing work until i realli cmi, i sneaked into my bro's room (where they are testing the running of aircon) to sleep till 7pm. bathed in cool water today and it feels good. i must seriously do my maths tutorial later and sleep early. still got a pile of rubbish to clear....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

busy busy. supposed to have an even more busy sunday. but i sorta pon the cosplay meeting in the afternoon since it clashed with S06A gathering to celebrate chen cheng's 21st bday. but either how, the gathering seems to be quite a turn down. onli 7 ppl turned up and we din go for a movie eventually but just settled down in bishan's library cafe bistro to chit chat. after which the rest went off while i stayed behind to do my ctw tutorial.
left abt 5.15pm to dg to meet richard for pan's labyrinth. it was a nice nice movie but no wonder its called a dark fairytale and its rated nc16. a few gruesome scenes and scary parts. as a faint hearted who hasn't been watching a slighest bit of horror show for a few years, this is enuff to scare me off my feet. hahaz. but the story line is one of the nicest i've seen, esp the ending, it was a mixture of happiness and grief.
den went to basement of The Cathay to have dinner --> skewed teriyaki chicken with rice. we walked along orchard road for a while till ard 10.30pm and headed home. still had some illusions bout the baby-eating monster and tt stupid faun... zzzzzzz...richard took this foto using his fone

there's this gymnastic workshop in MOE curriculum bldg today organised by singapore gymnastic association. the whole squad decided to go for the course coz we tot it would be a tumbling day. i reached the place the earliest for goodness sake and i stoned outside the auditorium for 20 min b4 i saw a familiar figure approaching ---> its richard. hahaz. den he brought me out to the entrance where i met with the other alphas. saw the smu girls there too, and they could still recognise me *touched*. hahaz, just tt i forgot their names~ oppsy.
everyone was so excited bout the workshop (even provided breakfast) when suddenly the coach for the day, mr araki tatsuo started showing videos of GENERAL GYMNASTICS ---> not those u do somersaults but those kind of workout which japanese do in the morning b4 their day started at work or in school.... den most of us went "errrrrr...." after the presentation. tt lasted for 1.5h and me and sherlyn could see how kaori's face started changing for the worse.
later we went to the dance studio to learn how to WALK and SKIP. for goodness sake, it was then we realised tt the instructor focused mostly on teaching children and elderly to exercise rather than those rythmic gym stuff. its the slackest trg i ever had and the smu gals even asked for refund. a few ppl in the squad decided to leave after lunch coz it was getting too boring and absurd. but lucky for me, i managed to do a spotted backflip with the help of the instructor after lunch during a promised session of Q&A on tumbling skills for cheerleaders. and after tt, the whole watching video thing re-commenced and we ended up doing "line dancing" more instead of the typical gym. 4pm finally arrived with much agony to stay awake and the instructor started presenting certificates to individuals. thou it feels weird to be idling on a saturday morning and afternoon, but lets just treat it as a good time for everyone to rest abit so tt we can perform better in the coming trgs.
anw, i saw my primary school chinese dance instructor in the workshop. could nv forget her face coz she scolded me b4 for not being able to do sth in pri 2, i forgot wad. tt's the reason i quit chinese dance last time to do gym.
after trg a few of us decided to go serene street to eat ice-cream in a shop called creamy island or wad (i forgot). shared 3 scoops with rachel and ciyan, namely chendol, very berry and an unknown chocolate flavour. how much more sinful can tt be, with me eating ice-cream after a slack trg. tsk tsk. we took a few photos there and printed out one grp foto to be put up in the shop. nice place to hang out~
went back home with rachel on 852 where we chatted like we nv b4 (seldom get to talk so much with her). hahaz. at nite my elder bro and my parents decided to go safra yishun's Eatiz steakhouse (a branch of Jack's place) for dinner. nice ambience there and its my bro's treat. boon and keen went to watch soccer match between singapore and malaysia so they ain't joining us. hahaz (wads with the match... so many friends gg down to watch, or maybe to laugh). omg, the food was quite a big portion, lucky i gave away some of my chicken chop to my dad if not i think my tummy will blow. there's a strawberry pie at the end of the meal too. zzzzzzz...
and guess wad? there's a warehouse sales at the lobby of safra yishun! i discovered pretty shoes there and set my eyes on this nice nice nice nice pair of boots. realli realli damn chio lor, even my old-fashioned dad agreed with me and decided to buy it for me!!! tsk tsk. its original price is $225 but now its $35 lor! wad can i say wen lady luck is with me? hahahahaz, this shall be my new year shoes. weeee~~~

My lucky day!
must say tt today is one of the most fulfilling day!
went to ntu to watch their inter-hall cheerleading competition. must say tt it was very entertaining, esp for the last hall (hall 7 -- very creative). some teams are realli great! their stunts are rather stable and the flyers are clear tt wad they should do. i guess its oso becoz they had plenty of guys in the squad, so the bases are realli tough. one squad have guys who can do backtuck! (*-*) hahaz. i wan to go to the tumbling course on sat to learn my backflip. pretty please~ I need to control my diet! during gaia lunch....
yesterday i went to temasek poly with richard and damien and realised the coach akane was actually the lady i saw last time during the workshop. i still remembered she saved me from a fall once. hahahaz.
some tests richard asked me to do...
I hereby conclude that today is a bad day... My 1st time in SMU and it was lovely. glad i went with richard yesterday to find damien (the Cheerleading Association of Singapore's chairman) who taught the smu cheerleading team. onli got 6 gals in the team and amazingly, i saw lusiana and lynn there! wad a surprise. and i felt damn bad for forgetting tt lusi told me once she was in smu cheerleading team with lynn. so so sorry... but i am happy to see them again. =) hahaz.
i am so shagged today! Blood Diamond hmmmz... a second date with richard? hahaz.
1. managed to send out mass email to my fellow gaians and to aiyun's uncle bout the tshirt design. i dun wanna change it anymore liaoz, hahaz, other ideas will have to wait for next year's shirt. tsk tsk.
2. finished my econs tut 2~
3. reached cheer trg on time (and even early).
talking bout cheerleading, i can't help myself but scream: "WOOHOO!!!" maybe its coz i ate a panadol (for muscle ache relief) b4 i went trg, or it could oso be tt i prayed b4 i left my house this morning tt i will survive, or~ maybe its coz i am inspired to smile more from ytd's ntu interhall cheerleading comp. i managed to do my liberty retake successfully, my pyramid right on timing, my leap frog well controlled and a single toss to teddy bear with richard even after dying once from the running during PT. i am super high now, hahaz, but still have to sleep coz of tmr's unbearable EE lecture at 8am. just let me scream again..."WOOHOO!!!" =P

everything went well today except for the travelling part. why must tertiary colleges be clustered in the west!!! smu is much more friendly than ntu... 45 min of train + 20 min of bus + 15 min of bus. happy tt i managed to arrive at my doorstep at 11pm sharp. argh. going to die tmr again.

today lihao brought the nike shoes tt we ordered for the team. my first pair of nike shoes, and the most expensive shoes in my inventory. (feels weird when i wore it, but just nid sometime to get used to it.) as such, i decided to take good care of the shoes and wear it onli to cheerleading trainings. in addition, the princess finally decided to buy herself a shoe bag. hahaz, but its a cheapo one la. (who cares as long as it can contain my shoes) anw, damien came to our training in the late morning. he taught us e climbing up chair, toss maraton, and flyer lifting training for guys. as for my part, i still nid to work on locking my legs and butt during the lasalle pyramid, my liberty reload, my swedish fall, my bu leap frog and my trophy... =( so many expectations, so many failures. ya, i am improving, but not fast enuff to catch up with kaori. sometimes i just dunno wad the heck is wrong lor. a bit frustrated over my incompetence. hit it girl... argh!

1. was talking to jasper in econs lecture when there's this fierce woman sitting behind us said to us in a very bu-shuang way: "can the two of you stop talking?!" ... first time scolded in lecture lehz... tmd... den jasper replied her "ok ok, relac la." and he fell asleep on the table...
2. during econs lecture, was talking with sam online bout updating the maths tutorial class. at first i changed to b01 in the morning and there was no one i know in class. den later i realised there's one vacancy in b02 (the class i intended to change to). but sam was nice to change to b03 with me. so i just casually suggested if there's 2 vacancy in b02 we can change tgt coz jasper they all in tt class, den his maths quite good, if dunno anything can ask ard. den i dunno why sam suddenly said wadeva la, ask me change class, den he go find his friend. wth! i said if there's no space den we stay in b03. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can he listen to me and not anyhow infer things... and i am not picking a quarrel! i just wan to confirm if he wan to be in the same class or not.... ARGH!
3. alvin and richard sorta argued with each other today when the trg was nearing the end over doing 3 sets of push ups, crunches and squat jumps. i know many ppl were pissed too. coz it just came a bit too sudden. for me it wasnt tt bad coz i am aware of wad's gg on. but i just hope tt everyone could pull thru it (including me) esp when we are so near to the competition and pushing everyone to the max is necessary to allow us to attain endurance and better stamina. i realli agree with van, when she said thou she din like it, cursing all the way, but pt is a must in the trg, regardless we put it front or back, just do it. and i realli feel sorry for richard, coz this whole thing made him like the bad guy thou i know he's merely trying his best. sighzzz... not easy as a coach lehz...
4. when i reached home, i found out tt my parents quarrelled. and its my dad who started it out of no where, claiming tt my mum led me and my younger bro astray just bcoz both of us had many activities, spend lil time at home, had out-of-the-norm haircut and other random stuff. my dad's a bit weird today...

their training was quite mild in terms of stunting coz the gals are flexible but not strong enuff. nonetheless damien did push them in terms of pt at the end of the trg which i find rather helpful. in our conversation, i learnt many stuff regarding the cheerobics routine and how its impt to attain sharpness instead of difficulty. so... i hope every guy in our team could get a chance to do toss to chair, coz they had been practicing hard since their first attempt and had nv given up even thou they din pass the "audition".
and i have to sharpen my liberty, esp the left side. zzzzzzzzz...
then as for tumbling, the gals can learn front walkover becoz its the easiest of the basic tumbling. and when combined with round off, its good enuff to score. =)
reached home like quite late, and slept ard 1am. so so tired now (blogging in the library with shiyun sleeping in front of me and it will be my turn soon). the boys in gaia went to compete in dota outside lt6 and hope they won't do so badly. hahaz. jia you wor~
oh ya, bought an ankle guard ytd in guardian too. hahaz. same brand as richard's wrist guard... err... i'm just worried my feet can't squeeze into the shoes after putting it on... hahaz. AND SO EX! i nid to save up more money...

1. i discovered i am in the same ctw class as hui xiang.
2. my ctw class onli got 3 females, including the ang mo tutor who's quite good.
3. i discovered my arms have thickened with muscles = scary wen i wear sleeveless.
4. puay yong and wei sian came to engin mac to eat and we met in the canteen. shiyun said puay yong is chio. hahaz.
5. discussed bout gaia tshirt and tok cock in the canteen after gaia lunch till 4pm = there goes my sleep and intention to fin econ tut in the lib.
6. slept in mle lect on the mle tb for the last 30 min of the lect.
7. my bump in the head hits chong wei's chest and become more pain.
8. disfigured alvin in the bu leap frog and caused huijing and rachel to fall.
9. din manage to be in the same econ class with jasper bcoz of his big mouth.
10. discovered tt my ankle is still painful.

my second time to The Cathay for movie. still rmb the other time was when it was first opened; no shops in the vicinity, just the movie theatre. look at my blog past events and u'll see an entry bout the cathay there. hahaz. i can still see smu from the 6th lvl...

he asked me to bring camera to take the interior of the grand cathay. its kinda illegal, so i have to turn off my flash. but bcoz of that the shutter speed is extremely slow and the fotos turned out dark and blurred due to my shaky hands. there's supposed to be a mini stage infront of the screen. -->
the walls at the side are supposed to have the old shanghai designs...
this is a bit clearer...

blood diamond is in fact a very educational show. very different from wad i imagined. its about how civil wars in africa arises just because of the precious stones. and its all because of political incompetence and poor governing of the country. people lived there in poverty that's why when they discovered things that can bring them out of the viscious cycle, they fight for it. they want to keep it for themselves. this conflicting interest caused the rebel forces RUF to form and kill innocent people ruthlessly in fear they may discover any diamonds. selfishness, brutality, inhumane. young kids were either slaughtered, tortured, or brainwashed as new soldiers. as quoted from the colonel in the movie, "some people explained that the red earth in Africa comes from all the blood of those who died." and one from leonardo, "people always pray to god for forgiveness in this misdeed, but i think god has already left this place long time ago..."
no one can help them...except for themselves...
after the movie, we decided to go fish and co for dinner. wanted to take the 2nd floor table but it was not opened. took a foto at the steps:

tt's all the foto we took for the day. played some games in arcade b4 heading home. it was alr 10pm, the supposed time to reach home for the day. richard was nice to send me back to yishun. going to be so tired the next day, some more got training... lucky tues is a free day...

i wondered since when i had been running out of luck tt i had been getting injured consecutively for like 5 trainings. hated when this kind of thing happened coz i had made countless promises and assurances to my friends and family tt i will take good care of myself but still, i wasn't able to keep to my word. today was no exception. when i was happy tt i was onli taking ciyan's place to hold rachel's leg in the lasalle pyramid, fengni fell and her legs kicked my head. ---> 1st injury of the day. but e pain was quickly overcome thou i felt some balding might occur ard the injured area of the skull.
and den wen i was so jolly bout being able to get pass the BU frog leap with onli a small twist on the alr injured left ankle, and some blue blacks on the legs and knee, i kanna the most serious head injury ever in cheerleading. when me and richard were doing the round off to toss, my head sorta flung back due to the momentum and just nice his head was near mine, so elastic collision occurred.... his eye brow bone got all red while mine was much worse. e back of my head was swollen with a bump... and its damn painful even wen i nv touch it. felt a bit dizzy and unstable, which then worries me if i would kanna concussion. dotz... i din know richard's head is so hard...
went to eat lunch for the few times with some ppl in the squad and was expecting alvin to take train with me when he decided to choose the bus instead.
tonite there's biz comm bash. and i was actually hoping to go n take a look at the st. james power station coz i heard rumours how beautiful the building is. but after sleeping late last nite and today's bestowed injuries, i guess i saved that $14. and i was alr planning to wear boots to the dance floor... sighz...
sorry i guess i am bored, so today's entry will be filled with rubbish.
sometimes, when i watched tv serials and saw how the male lead treated the female lead in such a tender and gentle manner, i felt so envious. and sometimes when i am just alone, i felt a nid to have someone by my side. also, sometimes, i saw friends emerged in such blissful relationships, i felt like having one too. but sometimes, when i saw couples quarrelling, girls and guys in disappointment, r/s drifting apart, broken hearts, running tears...and on... i felt lucky tt i was no longer involved...
its been 5 months...

YESTERDAYi had cheerleading, but coz i was feeling dizzy, i decided not to do most stunts. nonetheless, i did one stunt called the BU frog leap where i nid to jump over a gal on shoulder sit. unfortunately, i landed heavily and badly, causing some ankle injuries. actually not some, its alot. my ankles (left and right) are kinda like sprained. later i decided to continue doing, but this time i fell on my knees, resulting in serious blue black. it wasn't tt bad at 1st but it sorta got worse in the later part of the day wen i went to meet er ge for nite at the museum...initially planned to go bugis to scout for shoes to replace my spoilt ones (those i wore to school). but plan cancelled since bugis junction no nite at the museum and my feet can't tahan the long journey. sigh... so changed to causeway pt. borrowed a book there and bot a shorts. heez. den went for movie. the show was funny. for a more emotional review, go read vin's blog. hahaz.but i remembered er ge laughing like a hyena...den we went shopping for my shoes at charles and keith, metro and bata. but none appeals to me... or even if i liked it, they dun have my size... sianzzzso we headed to the newly renovated foodcourt fountain terrance for dinner. den we went home.TODAYmy ankles swell... but i managed to buy new shoes. hurray!

i am damn tired today! had cheer in the morning and i fell how many million times today. richard made us do squad jumps till my legs nuah diao. den i can't do stunts properly... =( Deathnote 2 today! went to watch deathnote two the last name with my fellow gaians again. hahahaz. was late as usual, but lucky nv kanna forced to treat dinner if not i will die of poverty...
did the pyramid and fell from great height so many times, but once it was the worst. my back and head kanna. dropped head first and some more no one catch me... *concussed...*
lucky i recovered quite fast, pulled myself tgt and continue trg. i think i have to eat tian qi pian tonite... den went bugis with the bunch of cheerleaders for lunch. after tt headed to arcade and played shooting games with richard again. and i felt damn lousy coz my aiming sux... either i am still suffering from the after effects of the fall, or i am tired from ytd's late nite such tt my concentration is rather bad then... later we headed for bugis village to shop and i was amazed by the fashionable array of clothes and accessories available at e 2nd floor. i think i am going back there again to shop. hahaz.
back home and i felt like dying. finally had rag meeting tmr (supposed to be today but our dear party-king director pushed back the date). sigh, and i still hadn't mugged in the holidays... =(

had dinner at ajisen ramen! and junlin paid for us (first).
in conclusion, junlin survived the ramen!
dawn was so so late. the movie started for sometime alr den she came.
and the movie was HOW NICE! coz unlike the manga, this is much more short and sweet. after L died in the manga, things got abit draggy, so i din realli like it. in fact i skipped one whole chunk of the manga and jumped straight to the last 2 books. hahahaz. oppsy. simply loved the showdown, but sad tt the history of L is coming out in like 2 years time. shall look forward to tt!
went home after the 2.5h movie. hahaz. someone send me the deathnote song by red hot chilli peppers... i liked it damn lots...

2007 Countdown and Celebration

met up with fellow gaians for dinner on new year's eve at 铜罗湾茶餐厅, another hk cafe tt has been growing in popularity in singapore. its ard north bridge road, near bugis area. the milk tea is realli nice! and they are served in lil glass bottles! so kawaii!!!

the whole restaurant was filled with our laughters and loud voices tt sometimes the waitresses would laugh with us too. after dinner, we went to the arcade where tsinli tries to catch a soft toy but failed. hanged out there for a while and i had to leave for cityhall to meet the secret person whom everyone had been bugging me to know who he is. anw! thanks gavin first for walking me to the mrt. so sad, no one wans to walk me to mrt except for shifu and gavin. wo ku le... hahaz.
cityhall was damn crowded la, but i still managed to find...richard! hahahaz. we walked to marina square since it was still early from the fireworks. met nigel and his gf, su, there. and we were like abit...shocked to see each other. hahahaz. hope nigel won't get the wrong idea!!! zzzzzzzz...

den richard treated me to arcade, and we played a shooting games all the way. felt bad for him to treat me coz i dun think its cheap... think he spent at least 10 dollars there... we walked ard the place, looking at clothes and so on for a while b4 deciding to head to the water front to chop place. and my gosh!!! it was alr damn hell crowded man. had so much problem walking thru the crowds with ppl pushing and squeezing. and there's a whole bunch of banghrahs....zzzzzzzz... somemore it started raining when we were still squashed between ppl. sianz diaoz... but once we made our way thru, it was all better --- we secure a spot to stand near the edge and stood there for TWO HOURS! dotzzz!!! den finally the fireworks started and it was beautiful!!! richard helped me take videos of them but at the most jing cai part, the cam out of memory... ALWAYS LIDAT!
after the fireworks ended, we immediately rushed for the exit. but it was again damn crowded. took like 1.25 hours to reach the mrt... but richard was realli nice!!! hahahaz, he protected me from the pushing crowd. and with my own eyes, i saw this stupid bangragh taking advantage of this young ang mo gal... tmd... feel like slapping him lehz!!!
den richard sent me to serangoon mrt (he's so nice!!!) where edi and gavin picked me up to dawn's house where the other gaians awaited~ hahaz, i was just in time for supper when i arrived at her big big terrance. and becoz i was feeling quite high from the fireworks, i decided tt i sudn't take off my contact lenses so tt i won't fall asleep. but sad thing is tt the gang decided to watch saw 2 and being such a scarey cat, i hid behind the sofa and played mahjong. hahaz. but i can still hear the movie...zzzzzz...
after saw 2, we watched corpse bride but it was too ameteur and everyone ended up playing bridge instead. and we played till 6am!!! left the place abt 6.30am and reached home ard 8am. bathed and slept for 6 hours, quickly washed up again, and rushed out to another gathering at nite...S06A bbq at weihan's place!!!

reached there like ard 7pm. just nice jireh just arrived too. hahaz. the turnout was not bad! 17 ppl in all. but the charcoal ran out so elena, cindy and yi han went to buy it. sad tt their car broke down in the middle of the road and they had big problems getting back. meanwhile, the guys and some gals were playing drinking games and poker, but unfortunately, 2 men knocked out from the alcohol... namely: chen chen and yuan shao. but i pitied chen2 more, coz he puke like siao, where yuan shao ye just sat there waiting for ppl to get him drinks... zzzz... b4 tt, chen chen was asking bout my hair, and he somehow started touching them when suddenly jireh shouted at him. hahahaz. it was damn hilarious tt scene.

went back at 11.30pm. had supper with yuan shao at kahtib, and he told me tt he liked this 16 yr old gal he picked up from the shop he bot my bday present from... hahaz. wad can i say to a (flirtateous) guy like him...zzzzz...but thanks for walking me back.
tt concludes my new yr celebration! i took 2 days to fin entering this entry...wow...
