P2K outing
today is friday, and friday got no work for the 1st time. wahahahaz. thanks to my boss who decided to step down my schedule for the last month of my contract. to think of it, i can't bear to leave some students coz they're so nice. sigh.. i guess separation is part of life and i'll just have to get used to it.
anyway, there's a p2k gathering man! hahaz. my mum was nagging me to hurry up with the meeting which had been brought forward by an hour, and i was rushing my heads off. when i reached there, none of the 2 gurz were there yet. somemore kim sms me tt she's still waiting for the train at admiralty when i was alr standing in front of amk control station. but i couldn't believe it too lor, i was mircally earliest. *applauded* when the three of us finally met, we headed for anderson straight.
kim and gurz were talking non-stop and i couldn't really chap in since i dun really know wad's going on in nanyang jc. tt's why i was keeping rather quiet and at some point of time, i felt non-existent. but it's ok la, i havent seen kim for a while and i'm kinda dumbfounded for a while, and hence it would be good if i observe the contents of speech for some time.
when we reached anderson and attempted to go to the security guard house to take a pass, we were told tt all the teachers had gone home and the cca had been cancelled since it was some moe exhibition thingy. yet we saw students walking within the premises and i wondered if the guard was tricking us away so tt he could save some trouble. nevertheless, we decided to head away from the school reluctantly despite the disappointment of the wasted trip, and move on with our own gai gai plans.
poor kim had no ezlink card since she just lost hers at home. she had to purchase the standard ticket which cost a bomb. eventually we went cityhall suntec to shop. hahaz, its my first time "shopping" in suntec. we entered topshop (my first visit) and some other branded shops (forgot the names alr). but it was all window shopping as they were so so so expensive. remember, i seldom buy clothes tt's more than 18 bucks. and i nv buy clothes tt more than 20 bucks. but tt is excluding stuff for ninja. strange tt i won't feel heartaches spending so much money for other ppl except myself. i'm a self-miser... back to the main topic, we went to sports link and nike looking for sports stuff for ah gurz and kim, but i wasn't really quite interested in those. so i slack ard the place, causing ah gurz to misunderstood tt i was feeling bored. nah. the prices are too unaffordable for me and i seldom believes in brands. u can call me a brand-unconscious girl, i dun care. later we came across a push cart selling printed t-shirts. the designs were so kawaii with ultraman, teddy bears and more, and the salesgirl was so pleasant and warm to us. kim and ah gurz couldn't resist but buy a t-shirt each. too bad t-shirts weren't my cup of tea, i dun particularly like round necks either.
there was actually a korean hip hop dance workshop tt kim's friend reccommended us to attend coz it was free. its at the youth park, 7.30pm. by the time we were done shopping, it was 6.45pm. plus travelling time, we might just barely be in time. unfortunately, i was wearing skirt, not suitable for big rough actions like hip hop, so the idea was scraped. we simply headed for dinner at one of the restaurants beside the fountain. it took us so long to decided which restaurant to settle with. some more we were distracted by this fountain laser dedication machine which we spent some time trying to dedicate songs to each other. at last! we found ourselves a place to dine at country mana (intended to go fish and co but it seems like a long queue...) the interior design was really relaxing. a pity i din take my camera along, my baby newgen can only do this much...(refer to the pic below)

the dinner was satisfying. we 3 had their specialties. as an appetizer, kim, me and ah gurz had chicken soups and mushroom soup respectively. the dough on the soup was quite nice, like delifrance bread. yummy. i was a bit full after the appetizer alr, but i had some time for digestion before my main course arrived. kim had a half spring chicken, ah gurz had a marinated teriyaki chicken or some sort, and i had a dory fish fillet with spice and fruit sauce. i must say, all of these tasted quite delicious! especially my dory, the spice is so immense tt i felt my tongue go numb at the first bite. simply shiok siah. and all main couse were served with one whole baked potato (not exactly so nice, but it's definitely a filler) and coleslaw. the manager was friendly too, as he kept checking on us, asking if the food was alright etc. such nice services, wow. we finally finished our meals at 9pm and settled the bills within ourselves. i ended paying abt 20 bucks, which isn't so bad. i think i'll visit country mana again sometime. yay.
as we were rather bloated with the feast earlier on, we decided to go to sky garden for a walk (also because kim said she nv go there before.) on our way, we got stuck in s&k coz i had my eyes on one of the $9 tops. too bad after trying it on, it was rather big for me. nvm... we finally reached sky garden and luckily it wasn't closed yet. we strolled about a while b4 deciding to take photos with our phones. as the lighting was poor under the moonlight, we went under one of the lamps near the fountain and managed to capture acceptably good photographs of ourselves.

ah gurz was trying to take photos of us looking away after successfully taken one which she claimed to look like an advertisment. most of it wasn't tt nice... hahaz. it was rather late and we headed home alr. was quite surprised to see so many ppl hanging around in city hall. and the club in suntec was damn hell packed with white collars workers. i wonder how they breathe...
reached home and the by the time i sleep it was almost one. i forsee i'm gonna die tml. but i had a happy day, so it's ok.
