Ninja's birthday celebration!!!
it's actually my mum's bday today. but i celebrated ninja's instead. coz he would be in camp tml. started the day off with teaching the kids sci pract as usual. got new kid, who is ahmad. and i'm sad, coz he's famous for curiousity, and curiousity kills me. hahaz. managed to pass time eventually and met up my family at the coffee shop opposite to eat lunch. saw my little p1 girl with her little cousin. they were talking to me and i can see that my dad is staring at them, like very tempted to go touch them and play with them. hahaz. dangerous. lucky they ran off b4 he could do tt. *phew*
when i reached home and bath, it was quite late alr. ended up letting ninja wait for 15min (thou he insisted tt it was 30min). he wasn't too happy bout the start of the date and i felt really apologetic. yet i hope he could understand tt i had work earlier on and i had alr tried my best to hurry down... we went to collect cake at raffles city bakerzin 1st. was deciding whether to stay at the shop and eat the cake or go sky garden. eventually we went to the latter since it would be rather odd to sing the bday song etc in front of so many other guests in the shop.
after a long walk, we made it to the sky garden but we were shocked to see a security guard chasing a boy away. tot it was closed but when we looked closer, we realised it was actually the boy's grandfather who wore like a security guard. hahaz. it was quite crowded inside. many ppl having outings there. i was taking pictures for ninja when suddenly a huge bunch of guys and gals strolled past us. could hear some ppl mummbling:"1st time see ppl celebrate bday in sky garden..." tt made me and ninja feel a bit awkward. after they left, we started singing the bday song and start indulging in the mouth-watering tiramisu.

it was really nice. the rum taste of the cake was strong, i like it. and it wasn't really very ni4, so we could keep on eating and eating. at some point of time, we decided to stop munching and keep the rest for my family. (actually it's coz we ran out of tissue paper which has an equivalent role as a paper plate.) but thinking again, the tiramisu won't taste so nice after carrying it all over the place. so ninja went to stock up servelets from guardian and we continued our high tea until we finish it all!
and soon it was time to present the gifts. look at the wide grin on ninja's face...!

and his wallet is so loaded with money, coz my mum gave him a wrong amt of ang bao...lucky boy...
he gave me a real passionate kiss, but i guessed tt's coz he's happy. i won't get it on other days...
we were so bloated with the cake like balloons, so we went to the arcade to play the drum game. yay~ had a little bit of exercise, but not enuff to get rid of the sugar we just ingested. it was alr 6.15pm when we stepped out of the arcade. gotta rush to the chinatown jerry's bbq and grill quickly. i tot tt would be a nice place to dine in. we din get off in chinatown stop, but instead, outrum park. tot it may be easier to walk from there but i din realise the place was actually so complicated. time's ticking and we had to constantly refer to the little map i brought along. ninja's unhappy face started to show. tt's coz i had a bad sense of direction and ninja ended up navigating. and i know he's anxious as he's worried tt he would be late for book in. i felt so apologetic again. kept saying sorry and he gave me a stern look, saying he disliked my time management. thou i agreed, i felt sad. sad tt i'm always so lousy. with great effort, we finally arrived at club street at ard 7.55pm. on the bright side, we finally found the place, exercised away part of our stored glycogen from high tea, and managed to reach b4 8pm. the place was really nice and cozy like wad my sis said. but i guessed it has passed dinner time, there's only 1 person dining in the restaurant. yet it's alrite, we could have the whole place to ourselves.

the toilet is stylish too, too bad i din bring the camera in and take it. the whole meal costs $34+. ninja paid for the whole meal using my mum's ang bao money. we hurriedly headed for the nearest mrt station. again, ninja had to lead the way coz i'm too lost. managed to find chinatown mrt. and i realised hotel 81 is just opposite the station. how convenient. somemore the hotel is quite classy looking, rather different from those run-down ones i saw in ulu streets for mainly chiko use.
we boarded the train towards outram, trying to transfer and head to cck, when just then, ninja received a call from chen chen. he was saying sth bout sharing cab with him back camp, and ninja had to go all the way to sengkang to meet him to share the taxi. it sounds so absurb to me but ninja was quite spontaneous bout it. i felt it was a waste of time and he might not be able to book in at 10pm. and guess wad he replied? "no, i book in at 10.30pm.." i was astonished. he din tell me tt... and we rushed like siao just now trying to save time, now he tell me he go so far meet chen chen. actually i was rather pissed and out of words. i asked him why he nv tell me tt, and he said,"last time i told u, den u drag the time until i almost late and kanna warned by sergeant."
so it's my fault.
we boarded the northeast line, speaking little along the way. i was quite disappointed, almost feel like crying. but i can't, coz i wearing contact lenses. guess tt saved me from making another din or fuss. he alighted at amk to meet chen chen coz they decided tt amk is much nearer to the camp. i travelled alone home.
when i reached home, my mum and sis were asking me how's everything. i just said plainly, "ok lor..." immediately, they knew sth went wrong and started questioning. my mum was quite unhappy after hearing tt ninja somewad lost his temper on the way to dine, and said i sudn't have bot such expensive stuff for him. i defended for him tt everything was quite fine, but i guess my disapppointment was written all over my face, causing my statement to be unconvincing.i cried for 3 min in the bathroom. but everything was fine after i received a sms for apology from ninja. i called him and discussed bout my unhappiness unwillingly coz i din wanna ruin the mood. but he said..."it's alr ruined..." that made me feel more disappointed...sigh...
i wonder if all tt i've done for ninja was worth it. did he really appreciate it? or just treat it as a burden or sth like a routine...he may say so, but i dunno wad's in his mind...
