2006 Summary
another year is ending soon... just suddenly felt like reminising abit b4 i move on to a new year... 4/4 Gathering or at least 1/3 of 4/4 '03 turned up. hahaz.

CHRISTMAS IS OVER!
so many things happened in 2006... at the start of the year, i was working for bloomdale up till end of january after chinese new year ended. den i celebrated chinese new year like any other previous years, collecting ang baos etc and celebrating mi and ninja's 2nd yr tgt. in feb, i started working in tim-educare services, which went all quite well, just a lil adaptations to e new working hours and learning to graspe the attention of lil kids. ard march, the a-lvl results was released and i was surprised and elated tt i managed to get 4 As and passed my GP. and later in the month, i went to ninja's pop with his parents to see him graduate from BMT. i continued working in the tuition centre but life there started getting stressful as the kids' exams drew near. and oso, teachers were leaving yet the boss kept thinking of new stuff to do. had very lil time for my scholarship application and sometimes, i became a bit senseless to the ppl ard me simply bcoz i felt too exploited and stressed out. had very lil time to go out with friends and so on, and this restricted feeling ills me. until in august, my bond with the company finally ended. but i was immediately engaged in my school's orientation week programme. i recalled that was when i wasn't able to see ninja for 2 weeks coz the week b4 oweek, he had outfield and i wasn't intending to pon any day of the oweek.
so uni life started with the best orientation i had ever attended. my og - gaia - had very nice people whom i could mix with compared to those in rjc. we did many crazy stuff, and the feeling of being "on" was nice. we stayed over tgt, eat supper tgt, play games tgt and so on. e bond tt was built during tt 6 days was realli impermeable. and tt totally sparked my life again.
....however....
good things doesn't last forever. there's always an equivalent trade off. immediately after my oweek comes to an end, i met up with ninja for dinner and to watch fireworks. intended to go watch movie after tt but i was realli tired. i like the way he held me tt nite. it was somehow different from any other times. hahaz. and i guess it was a good nite for us to say goodbye too. leaving every fond things at the back of our minds while we moved on separately on our newly laid paths...
and so! sch life started proper! all e screwed up lectures and tutorials. hahaz. had lotsa fun hanging out with my og mates in school, esp shiyun and ivy whom i stick to most of the time. i also joined my new found cca, cheerleading, and got to know many friends from different fac. thou some dropped out of the squad, the remaining ppl managed to bond pretty well. and we trained hard for performances tgt. =) with all these fun, we still din forget to study for tests and exams (thou i studied a lil onli). various mugger clubs were set up but i took no interest. in the end i sorta screwed up for exams coz i was distracted by some idiot who came "wooing" me during the study week. tmd. serves him right for failing one sub. wahahahaz.
so during the holidays, i went out with many ppl, attended 2 chalets and had hell lot of fun. but i was pretty exhausted from all the late nites and stuff. next sem onwards, i must work hard to hit 4.5. yupz, tt's my new year ressolution. and oh ya, another one... to win cheerobics. hahaz.
and as for now, i wan to thank a few ppl for this yr...
1. my family... for suaning me but yet supporting me in things i do thou they dun like it.
2. jan, kimo and arh gurz... for being such good friends and supporting me when i was in nid.
3. shi yun... for letting me join u during lectures if not i would be quite a loner.
4. jasper... (let me elaborate tis more) wen i was realli sad tt time, he cheered me up by volunteering to be my zhong dian nan yong. he is one guy whom i tot i could speak easily to thou i onli knew him for 5 months.
5. ken... ironic i know, but thou we aren't realli related now, i felt i should thank him for taking care of me at the first half of the year.
6. myself... for being so tough and still standing after all the storms. good job pia goi...
lets bid sayonara to 2006 and welcome 2007 with open arms in the presence of pretty fireworks! =)

we went to imperial treasure at taka for dinner, den headed for tcc at millenium walk to hang out. hahaz. shared oreo cheese cake with jan and charlene, and shared a butter rum frape with charlene. my gosh. the rum taste mixed with pure dark coffee. i like it! but its very strong. i felt a bit nauseous a couple of hours after drinking tt. played zhong ji mi ma at the cafe too. stupid guys (esp jingyi) go add pepper, salt and sugar (sometimes small pieces of tissue paper dipped in coffee) into warm water and the forfeit is to drink it. hahaz, but the game oso taught us wad is karma. in addition, we had fun taking turns sitting beside the "$3000" worth coffee distillation system which the rude waiter told us to beware of when we first entered the cafe. hahaz.
we lingered there till the waiter chased us out with the bill. initially we wanted to go glutton's bay, but on the way, charlene left, and jan had some prob with her lenses. so we decided to settle down at the open area outside marina square to chit chat. then jingyi started toking bout the sembawang park outing we had in sec 3 but no one recalls anything. hahahaz.
dunno after how long, we decided to head home. hahaz. and tt marks the end of the short 4/4 get-together. as u can see, no fotos! hahaz, this shows how un-foto-whore we are! i guessed it is a good thing? tsk tsk.霸

went shopping with sokies, but was late for like...45 min?! coz i was trying to check the cors web and see if the results were better-ed but was in vain. anyway, they were still the same --- ugly. went far east subway to have lunch and once again, she owes me money, the 3rd time. and if i add them all up... she would have owed me $26.40... sorry for being calculative, but i am sure i can put this money to better use, like paying jasper back for the chalet. sianzz...
then we went to isetan where there's quite alot of auntie's clothes. in the end i bot one top from mango which was a bit too big for me. and sokies bot an olive green top with fluffy sleeves. it was alr quite late, had trg at 6pm but i still went with her to causeway to collect her new specs after she tried hard to convince tt if i dun go with her, she would be realli upset. and so, i was 40 min late for trg and i sacrificed my dinner. sometimes... i realli wonder if i XXXX XXX XXXXX XXXXXX...
and i am upset tt i can't do liberty, again. fengni managed to do it with no sweat... but me... sigh... i guessed many ppl are disappointed over my failure... and so am i...

chionged designs for cheerleading costume but i kept feeling something's amissed. guessed its due to my lack in experience in this field, the costumes turned out to be very dance-liked, like wad chingfeng said. and i am sure everyone present at the meeting felt so too. i guessed too tt i consulted the wrong bunch of people during my course of design since they were new to the sport like me. sigh... and eventually the costume was done up mostly by kristy and kaori, while i played an insignificant role, munching on my tuna wholemeal bread at subway tt night. but richard was nice to console me by saying the crest i designed was nice...
in the later part of the day, i met up with other 7 gaians to go for edi's concert (Raffles Winds) at VCH. the music was very soothing, and i loved the medley from mononoke hime very much. there's some obvious 走音 somewhere but overall it was good. i felt better after listening to the melodious pieces, and to have great friends accompanying me thru the nite.
went to have supper at a chicken rice shop somewhere along the shophouses of clarke quay. it was not cheap. the rice was a bit hard, but the chicken can still make it. den went home after tt, with junlin sending me to the interchange and waited with me for my bus when suddenly a (mad) man appeared out of nowhere and tried to chase the people waiting for 812 away. abit funny but uneasy as well. lucky someone was there with me.
den went home and logon to msn to discuss bout dawn's party this coming sunday. din know they would hold a party initially... so i put up a notice on my blog and msn asking who would lk to count down with me... it was actually targetted at a particular person but i guessed i attracted the wrong guy... and now i felt bad turning him down... sigh...

who wanna count down 2007 with me???

anw, had been gg northpoint for the past 3 days and amazingly, i wore the same set of clothes for all 3 days... the difference is whether the blouse is tucked in or tucked out, or the jacket is buttoned or not buttoned... i am so lazy...
and on christmas eve, i met up with sam for a short while. he seemed so distracted all the time. and i can't help but wonder if i was treated as a substitue and now i am no longer needed. i guess when school starts things will become better since we are once again, allocated to the same class.
den at nite while waiting for my sis to return from her xmas party, i read jasper's blog and suddenly my younger bro walked by and commented tt one of the guys in the picture looked shuai. and the whole "promoting friends" thingy started between jasper, me and my bro... dotz...
and on christmas, i received many gifts. a taka pendant from mummy, a taka earrings and lil kitty pouch from jie jie and a shampoo from bro-in-law (YES, FORGOT TO ANNOUNCE, MY SIS ACCEPTED EDDY'S PROPOSAL). as for my part, i gave out presents too. spent ard 100bucks in all for the 6 ppl. eddy's present was the most most ex for some reason. i bot clothes for all of them except my lil kwuan boon who requested for cash to buy his pokemon cards. hahaz.
then today, its eddy's bday. he had been staying over since sunday nite. hahaz. so my sis decided to make a meal for him (or tgt with him) tonite, and oso for us. we waited till we're all starving b4 the food was finally done. its not so bad thou (maybe coz we were too hungry). but its a simple and nice way to celebrate bday, no excessive plans and stress. *envious*
but somehow, i suddenly feel so empty. i guess loneliness is just a feeling tt will wear off with time. so i sud move on with life.

as usual, had trg this morning. but was damn late coz i was damn tired since i stayed up late to chiong xmas cards to be send out. anw, they will reach the recipients on tues. sianzz...
and i got sore throat from eating 20 plus tang yuan ytd.
after trg, the group went to bath and met up again in new york new york at citilink for lunch (or high tea since its way pass lunch time). me and nigel were damn hungry while following and waiting for kaori's, lihao's and alvin's chippy fried fish to be done b4 we can go back to the restaurant to order food. almost fainted on the way. when we finally got to eat, it was already like near 4pm. finished the food at 4.30pm and had a christmas gift exchange session. i got a present for lihao (but i suspect its too small and he thinks its too small too...=( sigh) den chongwei was my angel and got me a paper holder. hadn't took it out yet coz i wan to place it under the xmas tree at home. took some fotos tgt (i dun have them now, will post them up after i got my hands on them) b4 me and sherlyn left the grp. i had to meet er ge at somerset to go ecp. hahaz. but alr so seh.
AND HE'S LATE. i feel i had a pretty bad headache when i reach ecp so ate panadol. was better but my head started to spin a while later and i realised i am burning up with a fever. so quickly put on my jacket. got better again after eating hot ramen, but still feeling very very tired coz of the consecutive late nites and early mornings, and activities filled days. (my body is protesting).

p2k Dinner!
1st thing. SADDDDDD!!!!
i have to work for one week in BLOOMDALE. YES! i am back to the dreaded company which i sweared i won't go back early this year. at first i was hesitant whether to go back and work anot (for the money). but later i decided tt i would be too tired and told wendy (the lady boss) tt i would be busy in a nice way. BUT! she said nvm and wanted me to go back. sigh~ i dunno how to decline a person who already think tt everything will turn out his/her way. nahzzz...
anw, after the tiring monday (at nite got cheer and somemore stayed back to practice more), i had a full day work today, followed by the long-awaited p2k gathering! hahaz. by e time i reached orchard, it was alr sho sho late. and all 3 of us were starving like mad. so we set off to far east (intended to eat bk or the chicken rice which we debated whether it has closed down yet). but eventually we went to long john silver and tried the promotional meal. i think we were all too hungry (somemore i ate a pathetic bee hoon worth $1 for lunch), so we decided to buy one chocolate hersie pie each for dessert. i had the most chocolate topping!!! wahahahaz. but i still think the bk hersie pie tasted nicer. =) den we(me and kimo) opened presents! hahaz. mi and arh gurz had in fact secretly bot kimo a present last sunday ---> a mango top. heeheez. (just nice tt time mango having sale den we found this nice top, so we dun nid to walk even more to find present for her). and kimo (arh gurz too bz to shop with her liaoz) bot me a sweet looking orange hair clip, nail stickers, and a damn cute yellow hello kitty coin bank which produces music when u drop a coin. hahahaz. got small packets of biscuits inside somemore!

EOY Cosplay
had training in the morning. and alvin took over the training session. i must say, its a bit slack for me. hahaz. after the training, i had to rush off to meet rong kai for the anime cosplay at expo, but chingfeng was discussing bout the costumes with the squad and reached no conclusion after half an hour, so i got impatient and decided to volunteer to design the costume. zzzzzzzz... tt's an impulsive move.....gg to regret it...
was late wen i reached expo. onli got 3 hours to walk ard b4 the exhibition ends. just nice sokie, jasper, bingxing and weihong were on their way to nike exhibition and asked me to join them. but i can't coz alr got appointment liaoz. den rong kai told me mervin was there with him too. hahahaz.

they are very pretty and well made
after the exhibition, we intended to go to maids cafe at chjimes. but it was already quite late and our stomach were growling. so we decided to postphone it to another time while we go to bugis pastamania to have dinner. hahaz. rong kai and mervin were realli an entertaining pair. the way they talked was so animated and funny!
later we decided to watch eragon at ard 9.30pm.
mervin helped me took this pic at the fountain:
went to buy black sesame ice cream from uzumaki. realli got black sesame inside but the taste wasn't exactly the kind i was looking for. and furthermore, its expensive.
eragon was realli classic. hahaz. we were amazed how fast the dragon grew up and how it managed to turn so big after flying one round in the sky. and the disappointing thing is tt the show is apparently a trilogy. sigh~
went home after tt coz i was dying already. but the 2 of them continued joking in the train. hahaz.
after today, my perception of mervin sorta changed. i must thank rongkai for tt.

Cheerleading Clinic
Date: 13-14 Dec 2006 Cheerleading Chalet
Venue: Braddell Heights CC
Day 1:
was so seh after the chalet and we went for this course organised by cheerleading association of singapore alr. we had lotsa fun there. but day 1 wasn't so interesting coz wad they taught we had alr learnt. saw jessica there representing aces. think she's amazed to see me there too. hahaz. was also surprised tt the japanese instructors are so strong and muscular (they are all females). their actions are powerful, sharp and controlled. (*-*) wow.
Day 2:
was much more interesting! we learnt more stunts now, like basket tosses, elevator (girl base) etc etc. and wad's more, richard came this time and i had the chance to do tth, chair, and some stupid swinging stunt which looked damn wrong from the backview. hahaz. the squad oso performed some cheers tgt and ching feng happily shouted the wrong timing making us a laughing stock. zzzzzzzzzz.... did some tumbling too, but i already knew all of them. was looking forward to learn back flip but sad tt i was quite tired and aching all over, so i din do it for my own safety. and i was quite impressed by sherlyn, honestly, when i saw her do the cartwheel. she had improved tremendously within a few practices from crawling over to now a perfect cartwheel. way to go gal!!! =)
at nite onli 6 of us: mi, kaori, sherlyn, richard, li hao and alvin went chomp chomp to have dinner while the rest of the ppl bung se us. the food was great. like it lots. hope to go there and eat again. yay! hanged out for a while and went home. totally drained to the pit. imagine tt i can even bath and sleep at the same time. hmmmz...

we played some bonding games like twister, silent stock market and on. ordered pizza for dinner. sat ard playing indian poker with forfeits. i ended up drinking some mixed vodka with all sorts of rubbish twice. zzzzzz... after bathing, like wad happened during gaia chalet, i was the first to knock out. the rest went for supper and came back ard 3am. some gals went over to adora's house to stay over while alvin went to lihao's house to sleep since there's not enuff space for all.

i woke up at ard 8am to find the rest still sleeping except for chongwei. later i roamed ard the chalet and came back to find chongwei sleeping again. hahaz. finally when everyone was awake, we went to bk to have breakfast with those who went to adora's and li hao's house the nite b4. den we went cycling ard pasir ris park and played the spider web and frisbie. so hot and sticky after tt so i stayed back to bath while the rest went to play with water in the swimming pool. when they all returned, we slack ard a while and started preparing for the bbq. after dinner some ppl left coz they gg for shears bash. and surprisingly, nigel came back with his gf, sufira (so chio). hahaz. and the yr 1 gals went a bit crazy interviewing her. tsk tsk. after dinner, the seniors decided tt we play a forfeit game and tt's wen the fun begins. i onli kanna 2 times forfeit. one is to balance a cup on the plate and walk. other is to lick bbq sauce from jiasheng's face. *pui!!!* went home at 10pm. the rest went home bout 10.30pm leaving onli vanassa, ciyan, ken yee and wen yeow styaing over coz everyone nid rest for tmr's cheer clinic.
