Sayonara

time passed quicker and quicker when you have more and more things to do. that's why ppl say time is never enough rite?

today, i have concluded my 6 months stay in tim-educare services. i must say, the centre has given me lots of work to do, and i have to thank the boss for being so miserly and troublesome, letting me be so busy for especially the last month of my worklife there while issuing so lil money. and because of tt, i have learnt to appreciate slacking, and of coz prepare myself better for uni life... this job has also tested my patience, my ability to speak up, and oso socialising skills. i needa thank the kids there for these. they have never ever given me an easy life, always spicing up my life with anger and irritation. they allow me to realise the damn fierce side of myself and awaken my impulse to slap them.

if u ask me, i have to say tuition job is not easy as u think it may be, especially in a small centre. many preprations work depend on yourself, especially you have useless colleagues who know nothing, or pretend to know nothing. occasionally, i cheered myself up by thinking how clumsy the other teachers would be without me ard. but most of the time, i dun really care.

yet, i should really compliment those ppl who brighten up my torment there. my ex-colleague, sin yan, who left earlier than me by a month, is really a very nice friend. she used to be doing most of the preparations, which really lessened my burden very very much, giving me adequate time to prepare my sunday class on saturday. she is very understanding too, and a good listener. i will never forget our daily stroll from the centre to the traffic junction where we parted. we would talk bout what happened throughout the day and discussed bout students and work. she would always wait for me to go home together when we knock off no matter how late it would be. in contrast to that, i had a couple of new colleagues in july who leave without a word and nv helped in preparation of the kids worksheets...but its alright now, coz it none of my concern anymore.

the next few i must compliment are my favourite kids. though sometimes as annoying as the others, most of the time, they crack really funny jokes which set the table laughing. i have taught a few from the start till the end of my contract and have developed feelings for each of them. often, my mind will confuse them to be my friends instead of my students. i really enjoy the moments with them and can't bear to leave them the most. on my last day, i had a sudden urge to cry upon the tot of not being able to see them again, but i held back, because i did not want to complicate the matter too much. my boss wanted me to simply leave quietly anyway. below is a list of my beloved kids (not in order of liking).

1. lil chloe k1: she taught me to be more motherly. yet i pity her tt she has to take tuition at such a young age. on my last day, she sat on my lab. she felt so cuddly! i hope i can have a daughter like her.
2. vesta k2: naughty and dirty girl, but superb in english. taught her for long, she's like a lil sister to me.
3. bryan k2: friendly lil boy, but sometimes can be dumbfounded in front of strangers. suberb in maths.
4. fahmi p2: he's quite cute, not the wild kind, but dun like to study. taught him since the start of my contract.
5. xiao xuan p1: she's cute! and very obedient too. sometimes a bit violent and vulgur? hahaz, she has an elder sister in p2 whom i dun like. forget to prepare present for her...
6. tricia p3: chongfu girl. difficult to talk to her at first but became familiar with her and she became like my lil sister too. so playful like mad. but cute.
7. sarah p4: a very playful girl, but quite adorable in her own way. she sometimes joke like dunnoe wad and can be rather rude. i treat her like my friend coz she doesn't really treat me like her teacher anyway. she gave me a correction tape as a farewell present.
8. danial p6: like some clown, but he's quite good looking. even dreamt of him b4. his voice sounds like sore throat. hahaz. he's like a friend to me, his jokes are my main source of energy.
9. cheryl p6: she's not beri pretty or cute, but sociable and straightforward. rather protective of her, coz i dun wan her to be negatively influenced by her tuition peers who smoked.
10. jia hui p6: a new girl, but we clique quite well. very talkative, but quite totful. she drew a nice lil gal for me on my last day and hopes to see me again.
11. siti p6: fahmi's sister. i think she used to steal my ruler, but after we are closer, she's actually quite a nice girl.
12. geraldine s1: she has a sister called kimberly in p5. both are maple chiongers. but she is more obedient and socialise with me more. quite pretty in her own way.

there are still many more, but not as close as them. can't possibly list all the 50 plus plus kids out.

from here on, i shall embark on a new journey. and finally, i say, "sayonara" to tim-educare services and everyone there, be it happy or sad. i will move on bravely, with the experiences and memories by my side, to another stage of my life. once more, thank you everyone.
