summary for jan n feb
previously i had talked bout the summary for 2005. now let me fill in the gaps for wat has happened in the month of jan and feb:
soon i was back to work in jan after all those parties and everything. life in the office was quite slack after the hectic x'mas period. so i managed to take time off to my rj class chalet (very last minute one). tt day i had a quarrel with my ninja coz he din go and fetch me at the mrt on time as he promised, and he din even listen to phone calls. so when he called, i just hang him up. i guess i was too worked up too, we din spend much time with each other then coz he went to taiwan for holidays for a week last year b4 christmas and i had been busy with work all the time. we had a talk and settled the matter. still, when i saw how intimate the other 2 couples were, i had a feeling that me n ninja were getting too drifted apart. the chalet ended up to be an illegal gambling den with everyone chionging mahjong and blackjack the whole night. ninja was feeling ill the next morning, wanting to puke, but din. we managed to reach home safe and went to sleep immediately.
a week later, ninja was enrolled into the army. i met up with him and his parents for the ceremony and toured the tekong camp with his parents while ninja went to report for his presence at some unknown place. it was the first time i got so intimate with ninja's parents. the whole event was quite long and dry. when we finally got to see ninja again, we witnessed him take the pledge and later, after a short chicken rice meal at the canteen, we had to part again. this time, ninja's going in for real, with shaved head etc. i din cry, i just feel sad, but i would work hard to try to minimise my longings for him.
but things weren't so bad afterall, we talked to each other almost every night on our phones to each other to report wad happened in the day and we went out in the weekends to have dinner together. i would also send ninja back to pasir ris bus interchange on his book in day so to have as much time together as possible. near the new year period, it was really hectic in the bloomdale company even with an increased number of staffs. i stayed till 12am every night to finish the work (note! no overtime pay at all!) but i finally 忍 until my last day! and the best thing was tt i could see ninja again!
chinese new year arrived so soon. so much things to do, had to bai nian and had to celebrate with ninja our 2nd anniversary. on 初一 ninja came to bai nian, but it happened tt my 小舅 and family came. my aunt gave ninja an ang bao but he just gave it to me saying he bu hao yi si to take...my aunt and my mum seemed a bit shocked coz its a bit rude siah, but think he dunno la, hahaz, so nvm. just treat it as a lesson. and on 初三 (the day wen ninja had to book in already) we celebrated our anniversary at sky garden. it wasn't intended but we became intimate again, just like a pair of lovely dovely in the old days. i was so glad, coz its been ages since we were acting like a passionate young couple... without fanciful dinners and gifts, i tot it was enough already...
so on 初五 i started a new job which just came for me by itself. it was a tuition job at a centre in chongpang (yishun). it was called tim-educare services. i applied for it last december on the day of my prom nite, but i only got it in feb. so that started my career as a tuition teacher. it was much less stressful than the work in bloomdale (except tt the kids were devils!) and the pay was quite alrite. best of all, one direct bus from my house to my workplace. cool! i met huixian there (ah gur's godsis) and another huixian, as well as xinyan. i was rather shocked at first that the centre had only 3 full time teachers b4 i was enrolled in, all 3 were my age, and all were from anderson jc...i felt a bit extra, but its ok, i'll learn to fit in.
so days passed as i worked clumsily in the centre, while ninja was back in camp having his field trip in the tekong jungle. soon it was 元宵节 eve already. me and ninja decided to celebrate this day to replace vday since he was in camp, and we could do nth bout it. i baked cocoa cakes for him, bought a small bottle of rose wine, got him a manly looking flower, and gave 
him a billabong cap. we went to ps on sat nite and ate in some restaurant which resembles fish n co (forgot the name). later we went istana park to exchange presents and had dessert (which was the rose wine and the cake). he said the cake tasted like huat kuay...(shit...) he gave me a bouquet of flowers, a packet of precious moments sweets, 2 tikam sanrio magnets, 1 tikam sanrio key chain, a precious moments globe, a list of stickers with my name printed, and a cool cap. so many tings siah. i'm a bit guilty coz he spent all his ns money on these. =P but we went home soon coz he was really shag. and that probably ended our celebration. short and sweet.
so the month of feb just passed by per normal and i was already fitting in to my job while ninja was becoming more like a soldier. the most terrifying thing now was that we finally got to know the date of release of the a-levels results which we had been anticipating everyday. it would be tomorrow! and hopefully, everyting will turn out fine. i just hoped for at least 2As and i'll be happy enuff. i've been praying everyday ok! god bless man!
